Weekly Forklift Training Updates: Starting 2026 with Counterbalance & Combined Courses
The New Year got off to a productive start at 4KS Forklift Training, with our latest forklift training updates highlighting strong demand across both our Birmingham and Peterborough centres, as candidates chose to begin 2026 by gaining industry-recognised forklift qualifications.
As businesses returned from the holiday period and individuals looked to improve their career prospects, demand for accredited forklift training remained strong across both locations.
Birmingham Training Centre
At our Birmingham centre, the RTITB Accredited Counterbalance course was the standout course of the week. Several private individuals successfully completed their training, making it their first professional achievement of the New Year.
Alongside this, we delivered our increasingly popular Combined Counterbalance and Reach Truck course, with candidates starting the year focused on gaining multiple licences to improve flexibility and employability within warehouse and logistics environments. These learners completed their final training days this week, starting 2026 fully certified and job-ready.
Peterborough Training Centre
Our Peterborough centre also remained active, welcoming both private candidates and learners referred through the RESTART scheme. Candidates successfully completed their Counterbalance and Reach Truck courses, continuing our commitment to supporting individuals back into employment with recognised, practical qualifications.
