FAIB Accredited
Level 3 Paediatric First Aid Course (PFA) Overview
Our Level 3 Paediatric First Aid course is a comprehensive 2-day, in-person training designed to provide participants with in-depth knowledge and practical skills in paediatric first aid. Unlike the common format of 1 day e-learning and 1 day classroom instruction, our 2-day face-to-face course offers trainees a richer, more interactive learning experience. By dedicating two full days to classroom-based training, participants gain a deeper understanding of first aid techniques specific to infants and children, along with increased confidence in applying these skills in real-world scenarios.
This course is ideal for those working with young children, such as in nurseries, schools, or daycare settings, and meets the requirements of the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) for certification.

- Certification: Participants will receive a Level 3 FAIB-approved Paediatric First Aid Certificate. Certification is valid for 3 years.

Why Choose a 2-Day In-Person Training with 4KS?
While many paediatric first aid courses split the learning between 1 day of e-learning and 1 day of in-person training, 4KS Training’s approach ensures a more immersive and hands-on learning experience. Here’s why our 2-day classroom format is better:
- Deeper Engagement: With two full days of face-to-face instruction, trainees have more time to absorb complex information, ask questions, and receive personalised feedback.
- Hands-On Practice: Practical skills in paediatric first aid—like CPR, managing choking, and handling injuries—are best learned in person. Our format maximises hands-on practice, ensuring trainees are fully prepared to act in emergencies.
- Real-Time Support: Instead of navigating online modules independently, participants benefit from the immediate support and guidance of our FAIB-certified instructors, who can address questions and provide tailored instruction on the spot.
- Enhanced Retention: Studies have shown that face-to-face learning can lead to better retention and understanding. Our in-centre approach helps trainees retain vital first aid skills more effectively than a split e-learning/classroom setup
