Here’s your latest forklift training updates from 4KS Forklift Training! Last week was packed with courses across our Birmingham and Peterborough centres, plus onsite training for clients across the UK.
Birmingham Training Centre
The Counterbalance Novice course was the clear favourite this week.
- Candidates from the UK’s largest vehicle manufacturer joined us for their RTITB Accredited B1 Counterbalance training, alongside private candidates completing their novice course.
- Reach Truck refreshers and back-to-back sessions also kept our instructors busy.
- Our sweetest client, the UK’s leading co-manufacturer of global chocolate confectionery brands, returned after a great experience earlier this year – sending 5 more operators for A1 PPT training.
- We also welcomed our household appliances client for a Counterbalance Conversion course.
- Bendi Conversion and Refresher courses rounded off a very busy week at the Birmingham centre.
Onsite Training Highlights
Our onsite team was on the move again last week, supporting businesses with tailored MHE training delivered directly at their premises.
In Trowbridge, we provided a Bendi Novice course for a client who wanted to up skill new operators to safely and efficiently handle narrow-aisle operations. This training ensures that their team can confidently work in tight warehouse spaces while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Meanwhile, in Walsall, our instructors delivered a Combi-Lift Conversion course, helping experienced operators expand their skillset and gain additional flexibility in handling long and bulky loads. By refreshing their knowledge and transitioning operators to new equipment types, we’re helping our clients boost productivity and reduce downtime on-site.
Our onsite training continues to be a popular option for businesses looking to minimise disruption and ensure their teams are trained on the very equipment they use every day.
Peterborough Training Centre Highlights
It was a full house at our Peterborough training centre.
Combined Counterbalance and Reach Truck courses were in high demand, with some learners adding PPT certification to expand their skill set.
Weekend courses kept momentum going, showing the flexibility we offer for both company and private candidates.
