Weekly Forklift Training Updates: Counterbalance, Reach, Bendi, and Onsite Courses

It’s been another action-packed week across our Birmingham and Peterborough training centres, as well as multiple onsite client locations. From Counterbalance and Reach Truck courses to specialised training on Bendi, Combi-Lift, and MEWP equipment, our instructors have been busy helping operators build confidence, expand their skills, and maintain top safety standards across the UK.
Birmingham Training Centre
The Counterbalance Novice course took the spotlight last week at our Birmingham centre, closely followed by the ever-popular Combined Counterbalance and Reach Truck course.
We welcomed candidates from the UK’s largest vehicle manufacturer, who successfully completed their RTITB-accredited Counterbalance B1 Novice course, alongside several private learners who achieved great results.
The demand for multi-skilled operators remained high, with many candidates opting for refresher training on both Counterbalance and Reach trucks.
To round off a productive week, we also delivered Bendi and PPT conversion courses, helping experienced operators expand their certifications and stay current with RTITB standards.
Onsite Training Across the Midlands
Our instructors were once again on the move delivering training at multiple client locations.
- In Walsall, we delivered a Combi-Lift Experience course, helping operators sharpen their skills on this versatile and space-efficient truck.
- Meanwhile, in Aston, we ran LLOP Novice and Conversion courses for our long-term food wholesaler client, supporting their warehouse team in maintaining safe and efficient handling practices.
- We also provided a Cherry Picker (MEWP) Novice course for another Birmingham-based client, ensuring operators were confident and compliant when working at height.
Onsite training continues to be a core part of our offering, enabling clients to train their teams directly in their own working environment – boosting both safety and operational productivity.
Forklift Training in Peterborough Centre
Our Peterborough centre maintained strong momentum with Counterbalance Novice courses early in the week, while others wrapped up their weekend sessions from the week prior.
Interest remains strong in Counterbalance and Reach training, as companies and individuals alike look to up skill and improve warehouse safety standards.
