Birmingham Training Centre
Birmingham ran a full and varied programme this week, including:
- Three separate candidates from the UK’s largest vehicle manufacturer completing their RTITB Accredited B1 training at the centre
- Counterbalance Novice training running across multiple groups throughout the week
- A Counterbalance Novice course and an Experienced course running side by side, across two separate groups
- Counterbalance Experienced training
- Counterbalance back-to-back conversions
- Reach Truck back-to-back conversions
- Powered Pallet Truck conversion training for a private candidate
- MEWP and Powered Pallet Truck conversion training
Onsite Training Across the UK
Our onsite instructors supported clients in three locations this week:
- Leeds: Powered Pallet Truck Experienced training for a client, delivered by two instructors across the week
- Birmingham: VNA conversion training for a client in Birmingham
- Aston: Powered Pallet Truck training for our food wholesaler client
- Birmingham: Counterbalance Experienced training for our medical healthcare distributor client, delivered as a night shift session
Peterborough Training Centre
Peterborough delivered Counterbalance Novice training across the week.
Weekly Highlight: Night Shift Forklift Training, A Seamless Handover
One of our onsite Counterbalance Experienced courses this week ran as a night shift forklift training session for our medical healthcare distributor client — started by one instructor and completed by another, without missing a beat.
It’s a good example of how 4KS builds onsite training around a business’s own operating hours, rather than asking candidates to fit around ours. Night shift forklift training brings its own logistics, and this handover between instructors shows the coordination that goes into keeping a course consistent even when more than one instructor is involved.
