Weekly Forklift Training Highlights: Instructor Course Launch, RTITB Re-Reg Success & Nationwide Delivery
Last week was a significant one across our Birmingham and Peterborough training centres, as well as onsite nationwide. From launching a new RTITB Instructor Course to celebrating instructor re-registration success, it was a week that showcased both development and delivery at every level.
Birmingham Training Centre - Developing Instructors & Operators
We proudly kicked off our RTITB Accredited 10-Day Instructor Course, with Tony, our Senior Instructor, leading the programme and setting the tone for the next generation of forklift instructors.
At the same time, two of our own instructors – Meraaj and “Baby” Sheikh – successfully completed their RTITB Instructor Re-Registration course, securing their certification for another five years.
Their assessment was conducted by Gavin from RTITB, and we’re extremely proud of the professionalism and standards demonstrated throughout. Maintaining instructor competence is a key part of delivering consistent, high-quality forklift training.
Alongside instructor development, we also welcomed candidates from the UK’s largest vehicle manufacturer completing their RTITB Accredited B1 Counterbalance Novice course.
To support operational requirements, we delivered an evening Counterbalance course for company candidates – demonstrating our flexibility in meeting shift patterns and business needs.
The week continued with:
- Private Counterbalance Novice candidates
- Counterbalance refresher courses
- Training delivered through to the weekend
Onsite Forklift Training - Supporting Clients Across the UK
Our onsite instructors were active nationwide delivering tailored training directly at client premises.
This included:
- A Counterbalance B2 Conversion course in Peterborough
- PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) training
- Bendi (Pivot Steer) training
- Counterbalance courses for various UK clients
Onsite training continues to be a key service for businesses looking to minimise downtime while maintaining compliance.
Peterborough Training Centre - Combined & Refresher Courses
Our Peterborough centre delivered:
- Combined Counterbalance & Reach Truck courses
- Refresher training to round off the week
A strong mix of novice, conversion and refresher candidates ensured another productive week across all locations.
