Weekly Forklift Training Updates: RTITB Instructor Course, Counterbalance, Reach Truck & Bendi Training
At 4KS Forklift Training, we pride ourselves on providing top-tier training for candidates across a range of equipment and skill levels. Last week was no exception, as we successfully delivered training at our Birmingham and Peterborough centres and onsite at various locations. Here’s a recap of the week’s highlights:
RTITB Instructor Course at Birmingham Centre
The week kicked off with the start of our 10-day RTITB Instructor Course at the Birmingham training centre. Candidates are progressing well, with some already completing their classroom assessments. This comprehensive program equips future instructors with the knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional forklift training.
🔹 Private Training at Birmingham
We welcomed a diverse group of private candidates to our Birmingham centre:
- Daniel, referred by Seetec Pluss, completed his combined Counterbalance (CB) and Reach Truck (RT) course.
- Jonathan completed his CB and Bendi training.
- We supported Dawit, an Eritrean candidate, and Belmondo, a Romanian candidate, through their Counterbalance courses. Our multi-lingual instructors ensured a smooth learning experience, tailoring their approach to help non-English-speaking candidates excel. Watch Belmondo’s video testimonial in Romanian!
🔹 Weekend Training Highlights
The weekend was busy with:
- Birmingham hosting Bendi refresher and conversion courses for three candidates.
- Peterborough running Counterbalance and Pedestrian Pallet Truck (PPT) courses, with full attendance!
Onsite Training Success
- VNA Training Extension: Our intensive 6-week VNA training program for one of Europe’s largest distributors of commercial vehicle parts was extended by an additional two weeks to accommodate more candidates.
- Pallet Stacker Training: Delivered for a leading global technology company, focusing on precision handling and safety.
- Bendi Conversion in Bristol: We conducted a conversion course for the same commercial vehicle parts distributor to ensure their operators are equipped to handle specialised warehouse equipment.
- Bendi Novice Training: Completed for Nautilus Designs, helping their team enhance warehouse efficiency.
🔹 Peterborough Training Centre Highlights
Peterborough saw a busy week of training:
- Candidates completed Counterbalance (CB) and Reach Truck (RT) courses at various skill levels, from novices to refreshers.
- Two candidates from one of the UK’s leading staging construction and design companies and one from a recycling company completed their Counterbalance training too.
