Weekly Forklift Training Updates: Momentum Training, VNA Excellence, and Seasonal Refresher Courses
Last week was another dynamic and productive one at 4KS Forklift Training, with a mix of onsite and centre-based training across Birmingham and Peterborough. Here’s a detailed look at the week’s highlights:
Birmingham Training Centre Highlights
Our Birmingham training centre was bustling with candidates, all eager to advance their forklift skills:
🔹 Momentum Training & Recruitment Partnership:
We hosted 8 candidates from Momentum Recruitment & Training, all completing their Counterbalance and Reach Truck Novice courses. This week’s group came from Coventry, and to ensure their smooth participation, we arranged transport services to and from the training centre. Watching them succeed and share their excitement upon passing was truly rewarding!
🔹 Seetec Pluss Candidates:
We continued our long-standing collaboration with Seetec Pluss, welcoming another group of motivated candidates for combined Counterbalance and Reach Truck courses. All successfully completed their training, demonstrating dedication and skill development.
🔹 Seasonal Counterbalance Refreshers:
With the festive season approaching, we saw a rise in Counterbalance refresher courses. Many candidates renewed their certifications just in time for Christmas job opportunities. Companies also find end of year to be the best time to get their staffs’ certificates refreshed before they get busy.
This is a great reminder to others—don’t let your certification lapse! Get your forklift certificate renewed today to stay prepared for upcoming work demands.
🔹 PPT Training and Reach Truck Courses:
Private candidates also completed PPT Novice courses, along with Reach Truck Conversion and Refresher courses, solidifying their expertise and ensuring compliance with workplace safety standards.
Onsite Training Highlights:
🔹 Bendi Training for Catering & Hospitality Distributor:
We conducted Onsite Bendi Conversion and Novice training for a distributor of catering products and packaging for the foodservice and hospitality industries. Their operators gained valuable hands-on experience at their premises to improve workplace efficiency.
🔹 Cambridge Packaging Client:
Onsite Counterbalance and VNA Conversion training continued for a major packaging company near Cambridge. This training equips their operators with the skills to confidently manage high-reach and narrow-aisle tasks. This marks one of two ongoing onsite VNA training programs, including the successful 6-week initiative.
Peterborough Training Centre Highlights
The activity extended to our Peterborough centre, with a mix of group and private candidates tackling various courses:
🔸 Momentum from Olly’s Special Client:
The penultimate week of training for the group of 12 candidates from Olly’s specialist client saw more success at our Peterborough training centre. Their Counterbalance courses progressed with steady dedication. It’s always a pleasure to work with clients that value thorough and high-quality training.
🔸 Private Training Courses:
Private candidates focused on Counterbalance training and Reach Truck conversion courses, completing their programs with excellent results. It’s great to see the Peterborough centre bustling with activity and success stories!
A Note to Employers and Candidates:
If you’re considering renewing your forklift certification or adding new skills to your repertoire, now is the perfect time. With the holiday season fast approaching, don’t miss out on job opportunities due to expired certificates. Book your refresher or advanced courses with us today!
