Weekly Forklift Training Updates: Heavy Onsite Demand, Reach Truck Courses & RTITB Accredited Training
Last week was another highly active week at 4KS Forklift Training, with strong demand for onsite forklift training across multiple industries alongside continued activity at both our Birmingham and Peterborough training centres.
From Reach Truck and Counterbalance training to VNA, PPT and Bendi courses, our instructors delivered RTITB accredited training across a wide range of operational environments. Here’s last week’s forklift training updates.
Birmingham Training Centre
Our Birmingham centre maintained a busy schedule throughout the week with a combination of novice, conversion, refresher and experience training.
Courses delivered included:
- RTITB Counterbalance B1 Novice training for candidates from the UK’s largest vehicle manufacturer alongside private candidates
- Combined Counterbalance & Reach Truck Novice courses mid-week and over the weekend
- Reach Truck Novice and Experience courses
- Reach Truck back-to-back conversions
- Refresher training
This reflects continued demand from both employers and private individuals seeking accredited qualifications and additional truck categories.

Onsite Training Across the UK
Onsite delivery was particularly strong last week, with instructors supporting clients across several sectors and locations.
Key onsite training included:
- A5 Pallet Stacker training for a bakery client in Leicester
- Reach Truck Novice training for a medical healthcare distributor in Birmingham
- Counterbalance Novice and conversion training for a food wholesaler in Birmingham
- VNA and PPT training for a packaging client in Cambridge
- Bendi Experience training for a catering company in Birmingham
This variety highlights the increasing need for flexible onsite training tailored to different warehouse environments and operational requirements.

Peterborough Training Centre
Another successful week at our Peterborough centre included:
- Combined Counterbalance & Reach Truck Novice training for the latest NetUK cohort
- Counterbalance Refresher courses for company clients
All training was delivered to RTITB accredited standards with successful passes throughout the week.
