Weekly Forklift Training Updates: Counterbalance Demand, Night Shift Training & Nationwide Delivery
Last week was another productive week at 4KS Forklift Training, with strong demand for Counterbalance Experience courses, centre-based novice training, and flexible onsite delivery including night shift operations.
Our instructors supported businesses across manufacturing, food production, engineering, healthcare supply, and logistics sectors while continuing RTITB accredited training at both our Birmingham and Peterborough centres.
Birmingham Training Centre
Our Birmingham centre remained busy with a range of RTITB accredited courses.
Counterbalance Novice courses included candidates from the UK’s largest vehicle manufacturer, as well as attendees from a clothing company based in Redditch.
Additional training delivered included:
- Reach Truck Novice courses
- Reach Truck B2B conversions
- Combined Counterbalance & Reach courses
- Weekend Counterbalance refresher training
This combination of novice, conversion and refresher training reflects continued demand for skilled operators across multiple industries.
Onsite Training Across the UK
Our onsite instructors were active across several locations last week, delivering tailored training around client schedules and operational needs.
Key onsite courses included:
- Counterbalance Experience training for a cheese manufacturer in Nantwich
- VNA Novice training for a medical distributor in Birmingham
- Counterbalance Experience training for a client in Corby, with excellent feedback received for instructor Olly
- Counterbalance Experience training for an engineering client in Birmingham
- Night shift PPT Novice training for a bakery client in Leicester
- Daytime Counterbalance Novice training later in the week for the same Leicester bakery client
This demonstrates our ability to provide flexible training solutions including out-of-hours and shift-based delivery.

Our Peterborough centre also remained active, delivering:
