Weekly Forklift Training Updates: A Bendi Truck Training Week

Birmingham Training Centre
Our Birmingham centre ran a full and varied programme this week, including:
- 1-to-1 RTITB Accredited B1 training for candidates from the UK’s largest vehicle manufacturer
- Counterbalance Novice training across three groups
- A Reach Truck Novice course for three candidates
- Counterbalance back-to-back conversion training for three candidates
- Bendi conversion training for one candidate
- Refresher training, including Counterbalance Refresher courses for eight candidates, two of them from a client in Nottingham
Onsite Training Across the UK
Our onsite instructors supported six clients in five locations this week:
- Birmingham: PPT Novice training for three candidates at our medical healthcare distributor client, and Bendi Refresher training for three candidates at an American based aircraft maintenance company based in Birmingham
- Derby: Bendi Novice training for two candidates, for a logistics client in Derby
- Leicester: B2 Counterbalance Conversion training for one candidate, for a logistics client in Leicester
- Loughborough: Four 1-to-1 Refresher courses, two Counterbalance and two Reach Truck, for an instore solutions client based in Loughborough
- Southampton: Bendi Novice training for two candidates, for Europe’s largest automotive parts distributor
Peterborough Training Centre
Peterborough had another busy week, including:
- Counterbalance Novice training for two candidates
- Reach Truck back-to-back conversion training for one candidate from a client based in Spalding
Weekly Highlight: Bendi Training Across Four Sites
Bendi trucks took centre stage this week, with Bendi training running in four places: Novice courses for two candidates in Derby and two in Southampton, Bendi Refresher training for three candidates in Birmingham, and a Bendi conversion at our Birmingham centre.
Bendi trucks are articulated (pivot-steer) forklifts designed for narrow and very narrow aisles built for tight warehouse aisles. Whether candidates are new to the truck or refreshing existing skills, proper training matters, and our onsite instructors bring it to the equipment your team already uses with onsite training.
