Weekly Forklift Training Updates: Getting Warehouse Teams Ready for the Holiday Period
Here’s your latest forklift training updates from 4KS Forklift Training, highlighting a busy week across our Birmingham and Peterborough centres, alongside a full schedule of nationwide onsite training. With the holiday period approaching, many businesses and individuals are prioritising accredited training to stay compliant and operationally ready.
Birmingham Training Centre
Counterbalance and Bendi courses dominated last week’s training calendar at our Birmingham centre. We delivered training for a mix of private individuals and company clients, many looking to complete their training before the seasonal rush begins across warehouses and distribution centres.
In addition to novice training, we also ran Reach Truck back-to-back courses and delivered Bendi and PPT conversion training over the weekend, ensuring maximum flexibility for candidates with different availability.
Onsite Training: Getting companies ready for the busy holiday period
Our instructors were on the road throughout the week delivering a wide range of onsite training solutions. This included:
- Reach Truck training for a food wholesaler in Birmingham
- Bendi Novice training for a logistics client in Derby
- Tow Truck Novice training for an automotive client in Wednesbury.
- We also delivered Bendi Conversion training for a creative decorative company in Birmingham
- and completed a MEWP Novice course for a chemical products manufacturer.
These onsite programmes allow clients to train operators on familiar equipment within their own working environments, supporting safety, productivity, and compliance.
Peterborough Training Centre
The Peterborough centre had another strong week, delivering a Combined Counterbalance and Reach Truck course alongside a Counterbalance Novice programme for a commercial refrigeration solutions company. We also welcomed candidates from the RESTART programme who completed their PPT training.
