Weekly Forklift Training Updates: Counterbalance Demand, Nationwide Onsite Training & HLOP Courses

Last week’s forklift training updates at 4KS Forklift Training highlighted strong demand for Counterbalance courses, particularly across the logistics sector, alongside extensive onsite delivery across multiple UK regions.

As businesses continue to invest in operator safety and efficiency, our teams remained busy delivering RTITB accredited training at both our centres and client locations.

Birmingham Training Centre

Our Birmingham centre saw a high volume of Counterbalance Novice training, with both private individuals and company candidates – including attendees from the UK’s largest vehicle manufacturer – successfully completing their courses.

In addition to this, we delivered:

• Reach Truck conversion courses
• Counterbalance refresher training
• A weekend Combined Counterbalance & Reach course
• PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) training

This mix of novice, refresher, and conversion courses reflects the continued demand for versatile operator skills across the industry.

Onsite Training Across the UK

It was a particularly busy week for our onsite instructors, delivering training across several locations and sectors.

Key onsite courses included:

• Counterbalance conversion training at a major automotive parts distributor’s RDC in Bristol
• Counterbalance training for a logistics company in Walsall
• Bendi Novice training in Derby
• Counterbalance Experience training in Oldbury
• HLOP (High Level Order Picker) training for a clothing company in Redditch

Peterborough Training Centre

Our Peterborough centre also maintained a strong schedule, delivering:

• Combined Counterbalance & Reach Truck Novice courses
• Counterbalance Experience training
• Counterbalance Refresher courses

All courses were delivered to RTITB standards, ensuring candidates leave fully certified and workplace-ready.
