Weekly Forklift Training Updates: Instructor Course Concludes with Exams

This week’s forklift training updates from 4KS cover the conclusion of our 10-Day RTITB Instructor Course, alongside Counterbalance and Reach Truck training across Birmingham, Peterborough, and onsite for clients in Leicester and Birmingham.

10-Day RTITB Instructor Course Concludes with Exams

Our 10-Day RTITB Instructor Course, which began two weeks ago, reached its conclusion this week as candidates sat their final exams.

It’s the culmination of an intensive programme covering the knowledge, practical skills and instructional technique needed to become a qualified forklift instructor — and another step in the ongoing work of developing new instructors across the UK.

Birmingham Training Centre

Birmingham delivered a full and varied programme alongside the Instructor Course, including:

• Candidates from the UK’s largest vehicle manufacturer completing their RTITB Accredited B1 Novice training at the centre
• New Counterbalance Novice courses getting underway, including a new weekend group
• A Counterbalance Novice course and an Experienced course running side by side
• Counterbalance Refresher training
• Reach Truck back-to-back conversions
• Bendi Refresher training for a private candidate

Onsite Training Across the UK

Our mobile instructors supported clients in two locations this week:

• Leicester: Reach Truck Experienced training for a client in Leicester
• Aston: Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) back-to-back conversion training for our food wholesaler client

Peterborough Training Centre

Peterborough delivered Counterbalance Novice training, along with a Reach Truck back-to-back conversion.

Weekly Highlight: Instructor Course Success

Our 10-Day RTITB Instructor Course concluded this week with exams — and we’re pleased to share that every candidate passed successfully, including those who joined partway through to re-register.

It’s a fantastic result for the group, and a proud moment for the whole team who supported them throughout the course.
