Last week’s forklift training updates at 4KS Forklift Training showcased another busy and successful period across our Birmingham and Peterborough training centres, alongside extensive onsite delivery across the UK. From novice courses and back-to-back conversions to the successful launch of training for a brand-new client, it was a week that reflected both consistency and growth.
At our Birmingham centre, the RTITB Accredited Counterbalance Novice course continued to see strong demand from both private individuals and company bookings. Among those trained were candidates from the UK’s largest vehicle manufacturer, all working towards gaining recognised certification and improving workplace safety.
Alongside this, we delivered our Combined Counterbalance and Reach Truck course, running from midweek through to the weekend. Candidates who had started the week prior also returned to complete their Reach Truck back-to-back conversions, allowing them to add additional equipment authorisation efficiently and safely.
Our onsite training team had a particularly busy and varied week, supporting clients across multiple sectors and locations.
We delivered Counterbalance and Bendi training for Europe’s largest automotive parts distributor at their Rhyl RDC, supporting high-volume operations with tailored onsite delivery. In Walsall, our instructors provided Counterbalance training for a hydraulics parts distributor, ensuring operators were competent and confident within their own working environment.
In Birmingham, a MEWP course was delivered for a sustainable packaging manufacturer, reinforcing safe working at height and compliance with current industry standards.
A major highlight of the week was the start of training for a new client – a major bakery – at their Leicester site. Our instructor Olly delivered the Counterbalance courses onsite, marking the beginning of a new partnership. The client feedback was exceptional, with 100% positive responses across all areas, including safety coverage, communication, pacing, and hands-on practice. A fantastic milestone and a strong start to this new relationship.
Training activity remained strong at our Peterborough centre, where we delivered Counterbalance and Reach Truck courses for both company and private candidates. This included operators from an Aviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing client, as well as candidates supported through the RESTART scheme.
We also welcomed candidates returning over the weekend to complete training started the previous week, ensuring continuity and successful course completion across multiple equipment types.
Whether you’re looking for centre-based or onsite forklift training, novice courses, conversions, refreshers, or instructor training, our experienced team is here to help.
