Forklift Training Weekly Roundup

Weekly Forklift Training Updates: Counterbalance, Combined Courses, Onsite & MEWP Training

Last week delivered another strong set of forklift training updates at 4KS Forklift Training, with consistent demand across our Birmingham and Peterborough centres, alongside a busy onsite schedule supporting clients nationwide.

Birmingham Training Centre

Our RTITB Counterbalance Novice course was the course of the week, closely followed by the Combined Counterbalance and Reach Truck course. We welcomed candidates from a range of businesses, including an electrical contractor and the UK’s largest vehicle manufacturer, with candidates successfully completing their RTITB B1 Counterbalance Novice training.

The week also included a Counterbalance experience course for a food and drink client, refresher training, and Reach truck back-to-back conversions continuing from the previous week – keeping the centre busy right through to the weekend.

Onsite Forklift Training

Our mobile instructors delivered multiple onsite courses, supporting clients directly within their own operational environments. Training included:

  • Counterbalance Novice courses for a multinational packaging company in Birmingham
  • A Bendi Novice course for a hot stamping company
  • A MEWP Novice course for a global logistics specialist

These courses ensured minimal disruption to operations while maintaining full RTITB compliance.

Peterborough Training Centre

At our Peterborough centre, we delivered Counterbalance Novice training, alongside Reach and PPT conversion courses. We also began a weekend Combined Counterbalance and Reach Truck Novice course, with candidates returning this weekend to complete their final training days.
