Weekly Forklift Training Updates: High-Volume PPT Training, Counterbalance Courses & Nationwide Delivery

Last week was another busy period for 4KS Forklift Training, with a strong mix of novice training, refresher courses, and high-volume onsite delivery across multiple sectors.

From Birmingham to Peterborough and across client sites nationwide, demand remained consistent for both new operator training and upskilling existing staff.

Birmingham Training Centre

Our Birmingham centre delivered a range of RTITB accredited courses throughout the week.

Counterbalance Novice training included candidates from the UK’s largest vehicle manufacturer, a clothing company, and private individuals entering the industry.

Additional training included:

• Combined Counterbalance & Reach Truck Novice courses mid-week
• Weekend Counterbalance Novice courses

This reflects continued demand for entry-level qualifications as well as combined skill training.

Onsite Training Across the UK

Our onsite instructors supported a variety of clients across different industries and locations.

Key onsite training included:

• Counterbalance Novice and Refresher courses for a metal company across Bulwell and Mansfield
• PPT Experience training for a cheese manufacturer in Nantwich
• Counterbalance Refresher training in Liverpool for the UK’s largest vehicle manufacturer
• Combined Counterbalance & Reach Refresher training for a mailing company in Birmingham
• High-volume PPT Novice training for a bakery client in Leicester, with 9 candidates trained across three days on night shifts

This highlights our ability to deliver both small-scale and large group training programmes, including flexible out-of-hours delivery.

Peterborough Training Centre

Our Peterborough centre also remained active, delivering:

• PPT Novice training for Restart programme candidates
• Combined Counterbalance & Reach Truck Novice courses for both Restart and private candidates

All courses were delivered to RTITB accredited standards.

Weekly Highlight

Last week demonstrated a strong balance between training new entrants into the industry and supporting experienced operators through refresher and experience courses.

A standout feature was the delivery of high-volume PPT training for a bakery client on night shifts, reinforcing our ability to provide flexible training solutions around operational needs.
