Forklift Training Weekly Roundup

Weekly Forklift Training Updates: Counterbalance, Pivot Steer, Clamp & More

Here’s your latest forklift training updates from 4KS Forklift Training and what a week it was! With our centres in Birmingham and Peterborough running at full capacity and our instructors delivering courses onsite across the UK, it was another busy build-up before the Archies Awards on 10th September.

Birmingham Training Centre

Our Birmingham centre was buzzing with activity:

  • A female candidate from our medical supplies distributor client successfully completed her Counterbalance Novice course.
  • 3 candidates from one of the UK’s largest vehicle manufacturers completed their RTITB Accredited B1 Counterbalance Novice course.
  • Several private individuals opted for Reach Novice and the increasingly popular Combined Counterbalance & Reach Truck courses.

The week was rounded off with a packed weekend of Counterbalance Refresher courses.

Onsite Training Highlights

Our instructors were on the road delivering a diverse mix of training tailored to client needs:

  • Automotive parts distributor client in Rhyl: Pallet Stacker, PPT Novice, and Pivot Steer Conversion training.
  • Logistics company in Sutton Coldfield: Counterbalance and Pivot Steer courses.
  • Other clients across the UK: Counterbalance training alongside Clamp attachment familiarisation to ensure operators can handle specialised loads safely.

Peterborough Training Centre Highlights

The Peterborough centre was just as busy:

A full house of Counterbalance Novice courses throughout the week.

The weekend closed with back-to-back Counterbalance & Reach Truck Refresher courses, supporting operators in maintaining safe and compliant skills.
