Forklift Training Weekly Roundup

Weekly Forklift Training Updates: Combined Courses, Onsite Training & Pre-Holiday Push

Here’s your latest forklift training updates from 4KS Forklift Training, as candidates and companies alike looked to complete key training ahead of the holiday period. From busy training centres to nationwide onsite delivery, it was another strong week across Birmingham, Peterborough and our onsite training operations.

Birmingham Training Centre

The Combined Counterbalance and Reach Truck course was the standout course of the week at our Birmingham centre, with candidates successfully passing their RTITB accredited training. This popular option continues to attract candidates looking to maximise employability by achieving two licences in one programme.

Close behind was the Counterbalance Novice course, with a steady flow of both company bookings and private individuals keen to complete their training before seasonal shutdowns.

Alongside novice training, our instructors also delivered:

  • Multiple Counterbalance refresher courses
  • Bendi conversion training
  • Reach truck back-to-back conversions

A strong and varied training schedule that kept Birmingham busy throughout the week.

Onsite Training: Getting companies ready for the new year

Our onsite training team had a particularly busy week, delivering tailored training solutions for clients across multiple sectors and locations.

Onsite training included:

  • A Counterbalance Experience course for a logistics client in Derby
  • Counterbalance, Reach Truck and PPT courses for a food wholesaler in Aston
  • Night-shift A5 Pallet Stacker training for an automotive parts client
  • Combi-Lift Conversion training in Birmingham
  • MEWP training for a chemical products manufacturer
  • A Bendi Experience course for a food catering client in Birmingham

This variety highlights the flexibility of our onsite service, allowing businesses to train operators on their own equipment, around their operational schedules – including night shifts.

Peterborough Training Centre

Our Peterborough centre also remained active, delivering a Combined RTITB Accredited Counterbalance and Reach Truck course, alongside a PPT Conversion to round off the week.

With consistent demand from both company clients and individual candidates, Peterborough continues to be a key hub for high-quality MHE training.
