Weekly Forklift Training Updates: Instructor Course, Counterbalance, Reach & Flexi Training

It has been another dynamic week at 4KS Forklift Training, with a range of courses running at our Birmingham and Peterborough training centres, as well as onsite training for companies looking to up-skill their teams. From RTITB instructor training to supporting candidates returning to employment, here’s a look at what we accomplished last week.

Birmingham Training Centre

✅ RTITB Instructor Course Begins
The first week of our 10-day RTITB Instructor Course kicked off, equipping trainees with the skills and knowledge to become certified forklift instructors. A strong start to what promises to be an insightful and rewarding program!

✅ Specialist & Employment Support Training

• We conducted a Reach Truck novice course for one of UK’s largest pharmaceutical supplier, ensuring their operators meet the highest industry standards.
• Back-to-employment training: 5 Coventry based candidates from Momentum Training completed their RTITB-accredited Counterbalance, PPT, and Reach Truck courses. To support them in their journey back into employment, we provided transport to and from the centre.
• 3 candidates from FareShare Midlands successfully completed their AITT-accredited Counterbalance course.

✅ Weekend & Private Training Courses

• We welcomed private candidates for Counterbalance and Reach Truck courses, including weekend training sessions.
• A Flexi (Bendi) conversion course was conducted over the weekend, allowing operators to expand their skill set.
• A furniture delivery company completed a Counterbalance & Reach Truck combined course over two weekends, ensuring their operators are well-prepared for the demands of their role.

Onsite Forklift Training in Walsall

Our team provided onsite Counterbalance training for a hydraulics and pneumatic fittings company in Walsall, helping their operators stay compliant and confident in their roles.

Peterborough Training Centre

✅ We ran Counterbalance novice and conversion courses, continuing to support operators in gaining and upgrading their forklift certifications.
